Now in his 20th year working in theatre and the music industry, Matt Grounds continues to work on an eclectic range of musicals, plays, large events, and arena shows. Recent designs include: Sweet Charity (Athens), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (UK tours, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv), Fiddler on the Roof (Athens), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Athens), Steel Magnolias (UK tour).
Associate Sound Design: Grease (International & Australian tours), Chicago the Musical (China, Moscow, Korea, Madrid, Netherlands, Seoul), Dirty Dancing (International tour).
Other recent highlights include system design for Blur (UK, Europe & South America), Roger Daltrey’s Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall and mixing John Grant & the Iceland Symphony Orchestra (Iceland Airwaves). Matt Grounds has also worked extensively with artists all over the world, including: Amy Macdonald, John Grant, Katy B, One Eskimo, Lee Ryan, Kubb, Elvis Costello, Super Furry Animals. Matt has also produced live recordings for Universal Music, Sony BMG, and iTunes.
