Waldemar Quinones-Villanueva


Quinones-Villanueva has already performed in WEST SIDE STORY on Broadway and during its first US tour. His large repertoire includes parts in Zorba, Man of La Mancha, Billy Elliot and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. He has performed in renowned opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Opera and the Ópera de Puerto Rico. He has worked with dance companies including the Ballet Concierto, Ballet Juvenil Puertorriqueño, Ballet San Juan, Ballet Hispanico of New York, Ballet Teatro Nacional de Puerto Rico and Staten Island Ballet. Waldemar has shared a stage with famous artists such as Marc Anthony, Olga Tañon, La India and Celia Cruz, and has performed in front of Pope John Paul II. His own choreographies have been shown at Objetivo Fama, the Jodi McQueen Project and Nuestra Gente. His work in front of the camera includes Law & Order: Criminal Intent, the Billboard Music Awards and the Grammy Awards.
