Alejo Vietti

An Argentine native, he has immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1990’s. He has designed Broadway’s ALLEGIANCE, BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL (also West End – Olivier Nomination, National Tour, Australia and Japan) and HOLIDAY INN, as well as designs for the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, Manhattan Theatre Club, Roundabout Theatre Company, NY City Center Encores, Atlantic Theatre Company, Primary Stages, MCC, New York City Opera, Irish Rep, The New Group, Cherry Lane, Rattlestick, Ensemble Studio Theatre and Soho Rep among others.

Other credits include Disney’s THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME in Japan and Germany, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Minnesota Opera, Donesk Opera (Ukraine), Colorado Ballet, and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

Regionally, Vietti has designed shows for The Alley Theatre, Arena Stage, Geffen Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera, the Guthrie, Hartford Stage, Paper Mill Playhouse, Shakespeare Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Old Globe, Wolf Trap Opera and Minnesota Opera among others.

He is the recipient of the 2010 TDF Irene Sharaff Young Master Award.
